STARTALK Chinese Immersion Program (Appalachian State University)
A free, NSA-funded STARTALK program for rising 9th-12th graders with little or no prior Chinese exposure, combining virtual pre- and post-camp activities with a three-week residential immersion in Chinese language and food culture at Appalachian State University.

The APPSTATE-STARTALK Chinese Immersion Program: “A Bite of China” is designed for 18 rising 9th-12th-grade students with limited or no prior exposure to Chinese.
With the general support of the funds from the National Security Agency, the program will cover all associated costs for accepted students.
