The Genomics Research Internship Program at Stanford (GRIPS) is a free, research-intensive summer internship program open to Bay Area high school students.
There is a $55 application fee.

LLNL Biotech Summer Experience
A 2-week intensive at Lawrence Livermore National Lab. You will sequence gene fragments from Landoltia punctata (duckweed) and publish data to GenBank.
