NorCal House of Chess
A Northern California chess organization that has run roughly 200 rated tournaments, including monthly Scholastic Quads (4-player mini-tournaments with trophies/medals) and FIDE-rated Swiss events open to K-12 students. Several partner clubs founded by former NHC students now run parts of the scholastic program and use proceeds for charitable causes.

The Institute also runs year-round scholastic classes, school-break chess camps, and free chess instruction for Title 1 San Francisco schools.
Bay Area Urban Debate League (BAUDL)
The Bay Area Urban Debate League partners with Oakland and San Francisco public school districts to give high school students access to competitive policy debate, including the Julia Burke Debate Institute summer program. BAUDL runs a season of local and national-circuit tournaments and helps cover participation and travel costs to make debate accessible to under-resourced students.
California 4-H Youth Development Program
The University of California's statewide youth development organization, active in every California county, offering hands-on projects in agriculture, animal science, STEAM, leadership, and healthy living through local community clubs. Members ages 5-18 take on individual and group agricultural projects, often exhibiting livestock and produce at county fairs.
California FFA Association
The California state association of the National FFA Organization, a school-based agricultural education and leadership organization serving over 108,000 student members across 366 chapters statewide, from urban Bay Area schools to rural Central Valley programs. Members combine classroom agricultural instruction, a Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) project, and FFA leadership activities, competing in career development events from local to national levels.
Civil Air Patrol California Wing Cadet Program
Civil Air Patrol, the official auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force, operates cadet squadrons throughout Northern California offering weekly aerospace education, STEM activities, orientation flights, and leadership training for youth.
