Genetics Immersion Program (University of Michigan)

A free six-week summer research program in which high schoolers are paired with a Ph.D. or postdoctoral mentor in the University of Michigan Department of Human Genetics to design and run an original genetics research project, with a stipend, free transportation, and daily meals provided.

GIP participants will be given a competitive stipend over the course of the program

The Genetics Immersion Program (GIP) at U-M is dedicated to creating an inclusive environment for high school students to immerse in genetics research

High school students are assigned a Ph.D./Post-Doc Student Mentor
