Folger Secondary School Shakespeare Festival
A decades-running festival at the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington, DC, where middle and high school students edit, direct, and perform a 15-minute scene from a Shakespeare play using the playwright's original language.
Middle and high school teachers are invited to complete our Festival application for their school group.
Participation in the Festival is free.
Festival dates fill on a rolling basis, so teachers are encouraged to reach out early to reserve a place for their students.
