A non-competitive, nine-month NASA engineering design challenge in which qualifying teams (who placed top 25 at the American Rocketry Challenge or top 5 at Rockets For Schools and completed an Advanced Rocketry Workshop) design, build, test, and launch high-powered rockets carrying scientific or engineering payloads, following NASA's design-review lifecycle through a final launch event at Marshall Space Flight Center.
National Ocean Sciences Bowl
Teams of 4-5 compete in a buzzer-style academic competition on ocean biology, chemistry, physics, geology, policy, and current events at regional bowls.
